Baby Album

Phew!! After all those Whiff of Joy previews last week I'm in need of a crafting rest so today I have an album to show you that I made for my cousin a couple of weeks ago who just had a beautiful daughter. The album is by Kaisercraft and was a gift from my gorgeous friend Debbie! I painted the edges with emulsion left over from decorating Kara's room and used a variety of papers from my stash. The front is decorated with paper from The Hobby House and I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, a die cut butterfly which was also a gift from Debbie and Phoebe with sticky letters that I think came in a Forever Friends set.
Here's the first set of pages. The one on the right is an acetate page for some added interest.

The first page is covered with paper from The Hobby House and then the checked paper is from a Forever Friends paper pad. I added some ribbon and a button to the pocket and a large label pulls out to write Phoebe's birth details on.
The acetate page has a tag made from more Forever Friends paper. The gromet is by We R Memory Keepers. The circle flourish is by Stempelglede from Quixotic Paperie and I stamped "Adorable" with alphabet stamps (the squares) although it is difficult to read what it says on the photo because of all the reflections going on! The crochet flower is from The Hobby House.
On the other side of the acetate page I added the word precious with letter beads from The Hobby House and a little circle to cover the back of the gromet with Phoebe on. The gorgeous flower is by Prima.
The next page is covered with the same papers as the first page (they were a matching pair until I thought of the acetate page LOL). The flower is by Prima and I added a metal word tag that says "Cherish" onto some button twine which I dipped in the pink paint! The wings are Magnolia doohickey die.
These pages were decorated with paper I've had since I started card making - I think they might be by Papermania but I'm not sure! The "sweet baby" was created with letter stickers and I added a lot of pink and cream buttons from my stash and some bows.
The last set of pages were decorated with paper from MME's La Paperie stack and the photo panels are scraps from a paper from The Hobby House. I added some swirls punched with an EK success punch and some crochet and chiffon flowers from The Hobby House.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

What a lucky cousin. This is the best baby album I have ever seen and I think you could possibly make yourself a little fortune selling these for a tidy little sum. So bloomin gorgeous x
