Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge DT - Birthdays!

Friday at last and we've made it through the first week of the Easter holidays relatively unscathed in our house LOL! Of course, it is time for another challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and this week it is our second birthday so we'd like to see birthday cards please!! We have a fabulous prize of a $50 credit voucher for the Simon Says Stamp store too!! I have used papers from my stash and inked them with brushed cordoruy distress ink as well as sewing them.
I have coloured this gorgeous hAnglar boy with hearts using copics - he is one of my favourites and perfect for this wife card.

I added a gorgeous gardenia from Wild Orchid Crafts along with a blossom and the blue flower is a flat Prima flower which I've curled up to form a bud. The pearl stems were a gift and the leaves have been cut with a Doohickey die.

Now I bet I couldn't do this again if I tried LOL....the "to my beautiful wife" has been created on the PC and then I've stamped the gorgeous circular sentiment from Whimsy Stamps around it. As the stamp is rubber I had to be very careful with my positioning and was amazed I got it right first time!! (I really need to invest in one of those stamp positioners LOL I can hear you all telling me!). The cute little tag is from Whiff of Joy as is the twine and I added some sticker numbers from my stash which I've stickled. The butterfly is from a Martha Stewart punch and I added another Prima flower under the sentiment.

Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations! Thanks for looking! x
