Tickled Pink Stamps DT - Lil Perfect Match Blog Hop Release!

Woohoo!! welcome to the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Perfect Match Blog Hop!! You should have arrived here from the gorgeous Fran's blog, if not you may want to start back at the beginning on the Tickled Pink Stamps blog as there are lots of gorgeous creations to see and prizes too! For my hop card I have chosen the amazing Pirate Lylah and her perfect match Pirate Luca! Don't they look amazing together!? I created the card base with a large Go Create die and some paper from my scraps that has a wood grain effect on it.

I coloured the images with copics and added red stickles to their jewellery and glossy accents to their swords - they look so cool in real life! You can just see the shine of them on this photo.

The sentiment I used is from Whiff of Joy and I added some Tim Holtz film strip ribbon, a couple of pins (for swords LOL) and a grungeboard scull and crossbones from Tim Holtz elements which I've painted with picket fence crackle paint. The ribbon is from my stash and the punched strip is a piece of Magnolia paper punched with an EK success punch.

I inked a couple of Tim Holtz grungeboard hinges with walnut stain distress ink before spraying them with gold cosmic shimmer. They're attached to the card with Tim's mini fasteners.

Hope you have enjoyed your visit today and now it is time to hop on over to boss lady Kellie's blog to see what she has to WOW you with! Thanks for looking! x

Love your sweet Piratesses!!! So cute. I've been in Florida for the last 25 days where it's been pretty much 90 degrees (in old money) but we are coming home tonight. I'm blogging from the airport where I just missed seeing Scotty, Lauren and Haley (are you an American Idol fan?) who left the lounge a mere 10 minutes before we got here. Gosh Dang it! Hugs, Lesley
