Whiff of Joy DT - Together Forever

Today I have a card to share with one of Whiff of Joy's sweet new images from the May release. This is Together Forever - aren't these cute love birds adorable?? I decided not to use a sentiment as I'm thinking this card could be a wedding card, anniversary card or a wedding invitation acceptance card!

I am still practising with my new Prismacolor pencils and decided to have another go at colouring onto kraft cardstock with them as I wanted to colour the birds a pretty pale blue which I thought would work well on kraft. I'm quite pleased with the results although I wish I hadn't shaded around them as it looked better before I did LOL! Ah well, still learning!

I had to add a feather of course, seeing as it is a birdie card LOL and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima. The pink blossom was white and I sprayed it with Tea Rose glimmer mist and added stickles to all the flowers too.

The beautiful heart border is a Whiff of Joy die and I added some Tim Holtz flower ribbon, which I also altered with glimmer mist, and a butterfly punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The paper is from K&Co's Madeleine paper pad.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

OH My, this is absolutely stunning. The coloring is so perfect. I had thought that coloring on kraft paper would effect the colors. Thank you for showing how pretty it can be. I have to remember to try it.
