Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge DT - Anything Goes and Lace!

WARNING!! PICTURE OVERLOAD COMING UP LOL!!!

It is time for another Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and this week is our special monthly challenge of anything goes with the added option of lace. I bought a little canvas bag from a local craft shop a couple of weeks ago to decorate for my little girl and decided to see if I could stamp and colour onto it - as you can see, I could :)!!

Here is the front of the bag. I used one of the gorgeous new Tilda's from the Sweet Rainbow collection - I think this is the best collection yet - love every single stamp!!

I coloured her with copics and added stickles to all the insects' wings and the lace on Tilda's top. I also added some glossy accents to the magnifying glass although it is difficult to see it on the photo unfortunately.

I have hand sewn the lace around the top of the bag (quite an achievement for me LOL I'm really not into sewing!!). All the flowers and buttons are sewn on too. The gorgeous large crochet flower is from The Hobby House along with the white ones and and the pink one and the bright green flower is by MME. The velvet leaves are by Petaloo.

I added some more crochet flowers in the opposite corner. The blue and pink ones are by MME. The buttons are from my stash and the little pink flower beads are from The Hobby House.

The gorgeous gingham ribbon is from my stash and I added a cute wooden dragonfly button from The Hobby House to the centre.

Here is the back of the bag, which I have to say I think I like better than the front LOL - funny how you have one idea then a better idea when it comes to the reverse!! I have used several Magnolia stamps here, the gorgeous mushrooms are from the Sweet Rainbow collection and I have added a snail from the Fairytale collection, and butterflies and bees from an older collection. They all work so well together, that's what I love about Magnolia stamps!!

I coloured all of the images with copics and I added some white liquid pearls to the spots on the mushrooms.

I also added stickles to the butterflies and bees' wings.

Here's a close up of Mr Snail, just in case he feels left out LOL!

Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge! Pop over to the challenge blog to be inspired by the rest of the amazing team!!! Thanks for looking! x
