Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar DT - Sentiments!

Woohoo!! It is finally Friday and time for another challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge! This week our challenge is to use a sentiment that is a little out of the ordinary, so no Happy Birthday or Merry Christmas - something different! I decided it was a great opportunity to use one of my Stempelglede sentiments and make it the central point of the card. I stamped the grunge circle stamp from Stempelglede first in frayed burlap distress ink and then stamped the sentiment in black.

What do you think to my image?? Phew!!! I decided to try the new technique that his been flying around blogland this week where you use very pale ink to stamp your image - boy is it hard to do!!! This took my absolutely ages to colour and I almost gave up but I do love it now it is finished! I have coloured another one you'll see later and although this was my first one I think it is the best one - I'm not so happy about the second one I have done for the Pink Ink Sketch challenge.

The heart is a chipboard heart cut with a sizzix die and covered with a scrap of unkown paper. The large flower is by Hero Arts and the brad is from Whiff of Joy. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pin is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar! Pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x
