No cards for days and then two in one day!! I am back with my card for the Pink Ink Sketch Challenge - can't believe we are already on our 3rd challenge!! This is another commission for my friend's birthday. The gorgeous papers are by Girls Paperie.
I have coloured the gorgeous hAnglar boy with copics and added stickles to his hearts. I love this image for cards from men to their wives - it just seems perfect for such an occasion and I seem to use it every time!!
I added some flowers from my stash and a chipboard heart which I've painted with pickett fence crackle paint and inked with victorian velvet distress ink. The numbers were cut with Tim Holtz' market street die and stickled. The leaves were punched with a Woodware punch.
The gorgeous ribbon is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. I created a little tag and stamped "wife" with some Hampton Arts stamps. The little gem heart is from my stash. I used the Martha Stewart Heart Lace punch along the bottom edge.
The buttons and twine on the tabs are also from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at the Pink Ink Sketch Challenge. Pop over to the challenge blog to see the stunning cards from the rest of my teamies! Thanks for looking! x
