Tickled Pink Stamps DT - Spinks and Spooks Collection - Lil Haunt 2 Vampire Lestat

Woohoo!! I have another Tickled Pink Stamps preview for you today and I have to say I absolutely LOVED making this! It was so much fun thinking of all the little details! This is Vampire Lestat, and I'm sure you'll agree he is amazing!!! Love all those gorgeous folds in his cloak! I wanted to team him up with the fabulous "Time for a Coffin Break" sentiment and that brought about the whole coffin theme! I have created a coffin shaped treat box for halloween!

Here's a view of the side - as you can see the coffin is complete with handles which I've created with some brads and chain.

I have coloured Vampire Lestat with copics, I struggle with black usually but am very pleased how this turned out :)!

LOL, I love this sentiment! The amazing frame around it is actually a separate stamp in the set so you can mix and match all the sentiments with the frame! How cool is that!? I have just become the lucky owner of a Stamp-a-ma-jig - yippee!! No more wasted paper with blind stamping! - so I was able to match the sentiment and frame perfectly. I have inked around the edges with vintage photo and antique linen distress inks.

I added some die cut leaves with a Whiff of Joy die and some branches punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The flowers are from my stash. Now, let's lift the lid of the coffin.......

......SURPRISE!!!! out jumps Mummie Christina to make the unsuspecting recipient jump LOL!!! She is mounted onto a thin strip of acetate so that she jumps out the coffin when you open it!

The paper inside the coffin was created with another stamp from the sentiment set. I simply stamped the little bat stamp all over the orange paper - I have to say I LOVE this sentiment set! There's a spider you could use too - so no more buying halloween paper - I can make all my own :)! The sentiment and frame are another two stamps from the set - how fabulous is this cobweb frame!?!? The spider stamp I was talking about is actually stamped onto the bottom right cobweb.

Here's how I decorated the lid - more of my bat paper and another fabulous sentiment, again in the cobweb frame - but this time the spider's moved! - did you spot that??

Of course, there is still room underneath poor Mummie Christina for some halloween treats - I'm thinking some sweets shaped like skulls and bones would be great LOL!
Hehehe! Couldn't resist a shot with Mummie Christina's hands reaching out! Hope you like it! Pop over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see the amazing creations from the rest of the Pink Ladies! Thanks for looking and don't have nightmares! x
