Deep Ocean Challenge DT - lace meets Crafts & Me DT

Wooohooo!! It feels like forever since I posted LOL!! I have been very busy celebrating my birthday twice as my parents were away on my birthday so I had a second celebration the next day :)!! I managed to find time to complete my card for the new Deep Ocean challenge though using one of my birthday presents, the stunning Weathered Clock die by Tim Holtz!! I've wanted this die for ages!! Our challenge this fortnight is to use lace on your project - nice and easy!! My card is also for the Crafts & Me blog as it is my turn to post today! This stunning image is Miss Mirabelle, a new one from Crafts & Me - she is so beautiful!!
The papers are by Graphic 45 from their Steampbunk Debutante range, and I've inked the edges with walnut stain distress ink and then added stickles. I have coloured the image with copics and added some glossy accent to her wings and the lenses in her goggles. I have added some tiny spacers and pearls from my stash to the frame around the image.
The gorgeous clock I have cut from kraft cardstock and inked the edges with walnut stain distress ink. The heart brad is from my stash.
The flowers were a birthday gift from a lovely friend and I added some Tim Holtz filmstrip ribbon underneath them. The butterflies were punched with Martha Stewart punches.
The heart is a chipboard heart from my stash which I've wrapped in Tim Holtz tissue tape.
I have hand written the sentiment with a fine tipped pen and the lace is a scrap from my stash.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Deep Ocean Challenge this fortnight! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x
