Wow! I can't believe how quickly the last month has gone by and that it is already time for our second challenge at the
Pretty Little Ribbon Shop!! Our challenge this month has been chosen by my lovely friend
Mina and it is monochrome. I decided this was a great excuse to do a white on white card - I love the look of these - and also use one of my gorgeous Stempelglede stamps from last Christmas.
I have stamped the image onto Ranger's glossy paper so that it is like an old photo. Isn't it just the most gorgeous image!?
I created some snowflakes with some pearlescent card, acetate and glitter and added spacers, brads and pearls to the centres.
The crisp white grosgrain ribbon is from
The Pretty Little Ribbon shop of course and I added a couple of jingle bells by Papermania underneath. I have added another spacer and pearl to the top of the bow. The gorgeous snowflake border was cut with a Tim Holtz on the edge die.
The gorgeous glittered snowflake vellue is by Papermania, available from
The Hobby House.
I loved making this card - so quick and simple yet elegant looking too! Think I might make a few more like this to get that Christmas card pile going!
