Tickled Pink Stamps DT - Lil Christmas Lad Lestat preview

Woohoo! Time for another preview from the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Christmas range, and today it is Lil Christmas Lad Lestat's turn for the limelight!! My card was actually quite quick to make and yet I love how it turned out - I think I might make some more Christmas cards like this! I used kraft cardstock and embossed it with the Tim Holtz snowflake emobossing folder - I adore Tim's embossing folders the embossing is sooooo raised up!! After I'd embossed I lightly inked parts of the snowflakes with walnut stain distress ink to make them stand out even more.

Here's Lestat with his toy soldier Christmas present! I've coloured with copics and added some gold liquid pearls to all the buttons on Lestat's jacket.The gorgeous red damask patterned paper is by K & Co and I inked the edges with walnut stain distress ink too.

The gold holly paper is also by K&Co and I cut it out with two different sized nesties and layered them up. The fabulous sentiment is by Stempelglede - love all Gunhild's sentiments and I'm especially loving the Christmas ones right now as I didn't get to use them last year as they were Christmas presents LOL!

I'm trying to keep my Christmas cards a little flatter to keep postage costs down this year (says she adding a bell LOL) and so went for minimal decoration. The gorgeous red berry sprays are from Hobby Craft and the ribbon is from The Hobby House. The bell is by Papermania from my local garden centre.
