Deep Ocean Challenge DT - Vintage

Woohoo! It is time for another challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge and this fortnight our theme is "vintage". I couldn't resist inking up another Stempelglede stamp for a vintage Christmas card - these photo stamps just amaze me every time I stamp them! The papers are by MME and Magnolia and I've distressed them all with walnut stain distress ink. I have used the gorgeous sketch at Crafting Life's Pieces challenge for my layout.

I added a touch of stickles to the angel wings for some Christmas sparkle.

I added some lace and cheescloth from my stash and a gorgeous button which is from The Hobby House.

I stamped a Tim Holtz pinecone stamp onto the cream paper - you can just see some of the pine needles sticking out!

The branches were cut with Tim Holtz' tattered pinecone die and I added a flower, gems pin and beaded branch from my stash. I created the pebble myself backing it with some of the paper so that it matches the card.

I created the gem swirl myself using gems from Whiff of Joy.

Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Deep Ocean Challenge! Pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x

Hiya Jane, I just adore the vintage look but I also think it is the most difficult to achieve so I'm very jealous that you have pulled it off so perfectly! Beautiful :) xxx
