Cupid Tilda!

Woohoo! My winter Magnolia kit arrived last week and even though it is technically one of my Christmas presents I was "allowed" to open it early LOL! (try and stop me LOL). I didn't think it possible but it is even more gorgeous than the autumn kit! I love every single stamp in it! I couldn't wait to ink them up and decided to use this gorgeous Cupid Tilda first but then she sat coloured up on my desk for a few days while I was busy with other things. I left the card pretty open as to a theme so that it could be used for an engagement card, anniversary card or valentine's card I think. The papers are by Kaisercraft and I've inked the edges with walnut stain distress ink.

I coloured Tilda with copics and then created the cloudy background with Prismacolor Pencils. I embossed the love corner from a previus collection in the top left and bottom right corners of the image mat with copper embossing powder.

The large rose was made with Tim's pinecone die, the blossom is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the brown flower is from The Hobby House. I added some heart pins and a feather from my stash and lots of swirls cut with an EK success punch.

The ribbon and heart were recycled from a chocolate box.
