Woohoo!!! Happy Valentine's day!! Are you doing anything romantic today?? It is time for another fabulous challenge at Magnolia-licious challenge with an amazing prize of a $25 gift certificate for the Magnolia-licious store!! This fortnight Norma has chosen the gorgeous colour combination of brown and blue for our challenge. I thought it would be fun to create an "old photograph" by colouring my image in sepia tones for this card. The paper is from Basic Grey's Wisteria collection.
I have used Vintage Photo distress ink to colour Tilda and Edwin. Don't these two look cute together!? This is Tilda with Love Lace shoes, she is out of stock at the moment at Magnolia-licious but here is a link to her mini #235. The Edwin I have used is Shy Rose Edwin #175.
I added some flowers from my stash along with some cheesecloth and some punched fern leaves.
The ribbon is from Whiff of Joy and the centre on the ribbon is from The Hobby House. I created the photo frame with a nestabilities die cut from grungeboard which I then embossed in bronze and distress powder.
I created the butterfly from a Prima e-line flower which I have stamped text onto before creating some antennae and a body from flower stamens.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at Magnolia-licious challenge! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x

Wow stunning card Jane!!
Ooh Jane this is a lovely card. I like the sepia tone photo idea. Your cards are such an inspiration. I have just ordered 2 more 'C' copic colours so that I can try out the black n white you did recently :)

Love your card! Great idea to use these colors to color in the images! Such a nice look. I currently have a birthday blog candy on my blog btw! Hugs, Hanneke
Amazing!! Just in awe of how you coloured this, so gorgeous :)
Beautiful coloring on these images Jane. So lovely! So the whole image is colored with just the Vintage Photo DI? I must try this as I love the vintage sepia look to this scene. Beautiful card and lovely embellishing. Have a great day Jane, hugs, Angela
Awesome card, Jane. I love the Sepia tones. Gorgeous coloring and perfect blue flower/leaves for that little pop of color. Looking forward to this challenge cuz it is one of my favorite color combos.
