Magnolia-Licious Challenge DT - Photo Inspiration Challenge

Woohoo!!!  It is time for another fabulous challenge over at Magnolia-Licious Challenge and this fortnight the lovely and very talented Norma has chosen a gorgeous photo to inspire you!
Gorgeous isn't it!?  I have a Magnolia tree in my garden and I just can't wait for it to flower!  I have a very large garden which, to be honest, is in a bit of a state at the moment after the building of an extension and the fact that with two little ones there wasn't as much time to care for it - but we're hoping to tidy it back up to it's former glory this year so I decided to create a garden notebook to plan it all in.  I covered a 2011 diary that I didn't get round to writing in with some paper from my stash and inked around the edges with walnut stain distress ink.
I have been itching to ink Watercan Tilda #3032 up teamed with the mini Scarecrow Tilda #298!  I think they look so cute together!  I have coloured both with copics and the field of crocuses they're in was also coloured with copics and a white gel pen for the white crocuses.
The peony flower is from Magnolia Sweden and the blossom and rose are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The lace and ribbon are from my stash and I stamped "notes" with some Hampton Arts alphabet stamps.
I cut the leaves with the rose leaf doohickey die #18 and added a charm from my stash with some twine from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.  The button is from my stash and the twine wraps around the whole book and then around the ribbon to keep the book closed.
I created the blossom branch myself and the Post Card stamp behind is by Tim Holtz.
The butterfly engraving stamps are by Hero Arts and I cut the word "garden" with a Tim Holtz die and covered the letters with glossy accents.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Magnolia-licious!  As always there is a fabulous $25 credit voucher from Diana for the Magnolia-licious store (think of all the gorgeous new stamps you could buy) on offer to the lucky winner.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations!  Thanks for looking! x
