I have a fun little set to share with you today using Whiff of Joy's new gardening themed stamps for when the weather turns a little warmer and I want to get the children interested in sewing some seeds and helping in the garden. The set comprises a windmill (must have for gardening children :)), a plant label and a rainfall measuring stick.
I have used Enjoying Spring on the plant label which is simply a lollipop stick topped with the image and a bow using Whiff of Joy's new ribbon. You can write the name of your plant or seedlings on the back. All the images have been coloured with copics.
This is Love Grows Happiness on the rainfall measuring stick (a long handled wooden spoon). My little boy made one of these a few years ago and loved it. Basically, you cut the top from an empty pop bottle and leave it outside, and after it has rained they go out with the measuring stick, dip it into the rainwater in the bottle and then they can measure how many mm/cm of rain has fallen.
Lastly, I made a little windmill using Bee My Friend. My little girl claimed this from the set already lol - and so I need to make another for my son :)!
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
