Magnolia Down Under Challenge DT - Our 3rd Birthday!!!

Woohoo!!!  It's a special challenge over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges as today marks our 3rd birthday!!  Wow!  I can't believe we've been enjoying this challenge for 3 years!  Time really does fly when you're having fun :)!!  To celebrate we have a new look - see the new badge in my sidebar!?  Our theme for this challenge is "Birthdays".  It just so happens it is my gorgeous little girl's birthday in just over a week's time so this was the perfect opportunity for me to make her birthday card as I wanted it to be something special.  She is going to be 4 - I really, really, really cannot believe that!!!  I can still remember as if it were yesterday holding her up to the hospital window on her first night in the world showing her the snow!  Yes, she was born towards the end of March and it snowed the night she was born LOL!!  Anyway, back to the present LOL.  I have used papers from Magnolia for my card and sewn and stickled all the edges.
I thought these two cuties from the amazing new Princes and Princesses collection would look cute together as it looks like Beanstalk Tilda #3054  is looking up at the sparkly magic Tilda Catching Stars #3006 is creating!  I've coloured them with copics and added stickles to the stars, crown and buckle on Beanstalk Tilda's hat.
The gorgeous plaster corner is from Panduro Hobby.  The hydrangea is from Prima and the number 4 is a Tim Holtz grungeboard element, painted with crackle paint and covered with stickles.  The rest of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I went a bit mad with the heart swirl doohickey LOL!  Love that die so much!!  I've stamped the shooting star border #609 with victorian velvet distress ink around the edges of the image mat.  I made the butterfly myself from a Prima e line flower.
More swirls on the other side of the image along with some stunning flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts.
I stamped the sentiment tiles with some Hampton Arts stamps and popped them on the cloud doohickey #30.
I have to say a huge thank you to Lillemor from the Magnolia DT for the inspiration for the inside of my card after seeing her totally stunning card here.  The papers match the front of the card and again have all been stitched and stickled.
I used the gorgeous Viking Tilda #302 as my Princess Kara - hence the not very viking-like pink dress LOL!!
Viking Princess Kara has her very own cute pet dragon LOL - Lilyrose the Dragon, again coloured with copics.
Again, I was inspired by Lillemor and added some rock candy crackle paint to look like dragon scales.
Of course, a princess has to have a castle #534 and it has to be pink :)!  I've added stickles to the turrets and rock candy crackle paint to the door although you can't see this in the photo.
The gorgeous lace was from a local haberdashery store and the green ribbon is from Whiff of Joy.  I snipped the button of some outgrown clothes of Kara's and the twine is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges!  Pop over to the blog to see the stunning creations from the rest of my team mates!  Thanks for looking! x
