Woohoo!! It is time another challenge at The Sketchy Challenges and this fortnight we have a super gorgeous sketch designed by Kathrin! I took the opportunity to create another layout - I'm so loving scrapping all my photos and using my "too good for a card" stash!!! I have used stunning Webster's Pages papers again with a kraft cardstock base.
The gorgeous die cut piece is also from Webster's Pages and I got my little boy to tell his own story about the photo so that it is not only a keepsake of the photo but also of his writing at age 7 - so cute! I remember how proud of himself he was for rescuing the insect from a cobweb last year - it was a scorching hot day. I'm not sure if it is a grasshopper but that is what we decided it was and so I made that the title of my page!
The letters are from Webster's Pages too as are all the little cut outs. The white border was cut with a doohickey die.
I created the flowers from a brown paper bag on our way home from shopping the other day with the bag I had on my knee lol (I can never keep my hands still lol) and thought they were perfect for this page.
The chipboard buttons are from Webster's Pages and the twine came with them.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at The Sketchy Challenges! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x
