Sundays With Crissy DT - Things With Wings

Woohoo!!  Today is my turn to share my creation for this month's challenge at Sundays With Crissy.  This month we'd like to see your creations using "Things With Wings".  I have used the gorgeous Rose Butterfly by Crissy, available from Whimsy Stamps.  I cut a tag shape by hand around the image with one of the wings protruding from the edge.  I then punched the bottom of the tag with Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch.
I have coloured the butterfly with copics and stamped around the edges with a Stempelglede stamp using Victorian Velvet and Weathered Wood distress inks.  I have inked the edges with Victorian Velvet and Walnut Stain distress inks.  Finally, I sprayed some Moonshine mist over the whole tag.  I have added a scrap of lace along the bottom of the tag.
I have added some sheer fabric to the top of the tag and then tied some ribbon around it.
The swirls were cut with a Cheery Lynn die and I have added some roses from my stash and a gorgeous pink Prima flower.  The gem stems are from Hobby Craft.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this month at Sundays With Crissy.  There are still a few days left to enter!  Thanks for looking! x
