Woohoo!!! It is time for another challenge at Deep Ocean Challenges and this fortnight our challenge is to use stitching on your projects, either real or faux stitching! As you can see I decided to create another scrapbook layout! This time of my little boy when he was two - so cute!! The papers are all from Webster's Pages, from various collections.
The flowers are all Prima and the orange button is from Basic Grey. The "smile" ticket was cut from Webster's Pages perfect motifs selection.
More Prima flowers at the top of the photo along with some more buttons. The yellow one is again by Basic Grey and the stripey one I recycled from some trousers that my little girl has outgrown :).
The lettering is by Webster's Pages too. I did lots of machine stitching on this layout - with red thread on the main paper and the striped paper. See the little cars running (or should that be driving lol) along the bottom of the paper?? I stamped them using a little wooden button from The Hobby House!! I simply stuck it to my acrylic block and stamped with broken china distress ink!!
On the red paper I changed to yellow thread and also added some zigzag stitching for extra interest!
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this fortnight at Deep Ocean Challenge! Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x
