I'm back with another layout today! I made several layouts in a row last weekend - all with Webster's Pages products - I've bought two of their warehouse sale parcels now and hadn't used any of it until last weekend lol!! I'm on a mission to use all the gorgeousness now though! This one is a bit of a tongue in cheek ode to myself lol. I wanted to scrap this photo of me doing a silly pose on a recent picnic. I was a bit stumped what to do with this paper at first until I realised that most of the words on it could be used to describe me or things I love so I set about covering the words that didn't apply to me with gesso and then added torn paper strips over the top of that.
I added torn paper squares on foam pads to add layers and then added my photo on the top. I have cut our several letters and words from the paper and it's mini counterpart to add to the layout in various places. I've added "i" and me" as my title next to the photo.
I created the flower using some Webster's pages trim and a sparkler in the centre.
When I explained to my husband what I was doing with this layout he said I had to have "must have chocolate" on it or it couldn't possibly be about me lol!! I cut the words and letters from the mini paper and added them on foam pads. The ribbon trim is also from Webster's Pages.
The bird cage and butterflies are cut from some other papers from the same Trendsetter collection and I added some gems from my stash. I adore butterflies so had to have plenty fluttering about my photo!
True to my star sign I am a major perfectionist so I cut "ist" from the end of another word on the mini paper and added it to the "perfection" underneath the photo lol!
The word "petite" was cut from behind the photo and describes me very well as I'm only 5'3"!! Oh, and I even got my shoe size on there lol!! This layout is kind of crazy fun but I do love how it turned out!
You can see the layering under the photo in this picture - I love to add texture to my layouts with foam pads!
