Whiff of Joy Challenge DT - Stars and Stripes

Woohoo!!!  It is time for another challenge at Whiff of Joy Challenges and as it is Independence Day for all our American friends today we have a very fitting challenge of "Stars and Stripes"!!  This is the card I made for my Father in Law for Father's Day a few weeks ago!  The stripey paper I have used is from Basic Grey's Cappella paper pad and the star paper is a scrap from my stash without a name on.  I have inked the edges with frayed burlap distress ink.  I have stamped around the edges of the striped paper with the gorgeous letter A stamp from Whiff of Joy's Vintage Letters set, making sure I only got the swirly part on the paper!  I love these letters - they're great for a real impact without an image!!
