Let's Get Shabby Challenge

Good morning!  I have a layout to share today that I have created to enter the Let's Get Shabby Challenge which this month is a gorgeous inspiration photo.  I was inspired by the gorgeous muted greens and blues in the photos and the distressed looking backdrop.  I've used some photos that unfortunately were on a film that was forgotten about and so when it came to be developed it was out of date and had started to deteriorate, hence the pink tinges to the photographs.  I think an aged layout suites them though and helps to make the pink tinge not so noticeable.  I've used paper from Prima Ledger paper pad and distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink.
Lots of Prima goodies on here.  All the flowers in this photo are from Prima and the ivy leaves are from my stash.
The pretty spray is a Kaisercraft chipboard piece.  I stamped and embossed a script stamp in bronze before using Tim Holtz distress ink in walnut stain.
The gorgeous button in the centre of the blue flower is by K&Co.
The green border is from my stash and the dragonflies were a gift from my lovely friend Kylie.  Recognise the large flower??  It is one of the ones I made using Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die here.  I'm so thrilled how it looks on here!
The rest of the flowers are Prima again except the tulip and the ivy leaves.  The fabric brad in the centre of the blue flower is Papermania and the metal flower is Tim Holtz.
I did some tearing and curling on some of the edges - love the effect it gives!
Another dragonfly topped with a little rose from my stash.
I also added some jute ribbon peeping out from beneath one of the photos to balance the dark areas on the layout.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
