Good morning!! It's a great Monday in our house as it is the half term holidays! I love being able to have lazy mornings and day trips! Life seems so rushed every day when they're at school! Being Monday it is also, of course, Mini Monday over at Magnolia-Licious and this week it is my turn to create a project with a mini Magnolia. I've created my own patterned cardstock to make this fancy envelope card by stamping various Magnolia
butterfly stamps with distress inks and white Stazon.
I thought
#309 Little Cute Tilda would look cute as the Queen on a stamp. I've coloured her with copics and then aged the stamp by covering it with white acrylic paint. I've then stamped over the top with one of the Magnolia Post stamps so that it looks like it has been franked.
All of the embellishments are from
The Ribbon Girl with the exception of the butterfly cameo in the centre of the frame.
I've used the
Sprawling Fronds #68 die for the leaves.
On the back of the envelope I've added some pretty lace and seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.
The embellishment in the centre of the bow was actually taken from the centre of the large flower underneath the cameo.
I've lined the inside of the envelope with some pretty paper to co-ordinate with the turqouise butterflies stamped on the outside.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to use your mini Magnolias! Pop over to the
blog to see more inspiration and why not have a look at all the super cute Minis Diana has in the
store too. Thanks for looking! x
