The Sketchy Challenges DT - My Sketch - Moi

Woohoo!!  We're on countdown in my house with only 3 days left at school until the summer holidays!  I'm not sure who is more excited, myself or the kids lol!  Of course, I'm also excited to let you know about our new sketch at The Sketchy Challenges as this fortnight it was my turn to provide the sketch.  As soon as I saw this new Magnolia paper I was in love and knew I wanted to create a layout with a sheet of it.  It not only has my favourite colours but my all time favourites, butterflies, all over it too!   I've added some random brush strokes as well as some stenciling with a Prima mask on some areas of the photo.
The keyhole was cut from a recycled drink can using a Tim Holtz die.  I have then used Frantage and Alcohol Ink in Walnut Stain to create a rusted look.
The clock face and hands are both from Prima.
The gorgeous trim is from Webster's Pages and the stunning blossom vine is from Prima too.
The title of my page is "Moi", French for me, of course.  The butterfly pin and charm are from Pink Paislee.
For the end of my peacock feather quill I have added an ink nib from Tim Holtz.
The incredibly stunning peacock feather is from Webster's Pages.  I adore peacock feathers, don't you?  So, so beautiful.  I actually found one when I was a girl and kept it for years but then I don't know what happened to it - I suspect the room tidying fairy took it (ie Mum and bin lol) - I'd really love to find another one some day.  I fussy cut some of the flowers and butterflies from the section of paper beneath the photo and have layered them over the feather.
This gorgeous wired flower is from Webster's Pages.
The frame is a Sizzix die.
I hope you like my page and I've inspired you to join us at The Sketchy Challenges.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning creations.  Thanks for looking! x
