Ribbon Girl DT - Magnolia Only Challenge - One for the Boys

Good morning!  I'm so excited to share today's card with you.  I was heavily inspired by Hannah's incredible Super Mario card earlier this year for this card for our Ribbon Girl Magnolia Only challenge of "One for the Boys".  Everything has been created from coloured cardstock.
I've coloured Game on Edwin #124 with copics and added some gold pearls to replace his buttons.
The stars were cut with a Sizzix die and I have drawn on the eyes by hand using a screenshot of the Super Mario game for reference.  The gold gems represent the gold coins found in the game.
The mushrooms were created with oval dies and the eyes drawn on by hand.  The ribbon representing the game platform is from The Ribbon Girl as is the memo pin which I have used as a flag pole for the happy birthday flag.  The flag was cut with the Flags #7 doohickey.
You can see in the picture above that everything has been adhered with different levels of foam dots to create lots of exciting dimension to the card.  I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at The Ribbon Girls.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations.  Thanks for looking! x
