Crafting Life's Pieces DT - October's Sketch

Good morning!  I can't believe it's the 1st of October today, can you?  We are flying towards Christmas now that the summer holidays are over lol!  Of course, the 1st of the month also means that it is time for another gorgeous sketch by Chelsea at Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge.  I was so excited to receive some of the Little London collection at the weekend and set straight to work colouring these two gorgeous images.  We are lucky to have one of these traditional style telephone boxes in our village, still in use, which I love - so much nicer than the modern ones!  For those of you who may be reading from overseas, the majority of these old telephone boxes have sadly been replace by modern silver metal and glass ones, just not the same at all!
I've coloured the Vintage Phone Booth #L10 and Edwin with Derby Hat #L7 with copics and I've used a white gel pen on Edwin's cheeks.
I've added pinstripes to Edwin's trousers for a more traditional English gentleman's look!
I've used the lamp post die from the Paris Night #DH5 set and the Talk Bubble #DH55 die for the speech bubbles.  The roses are from The Ribbon Girl.
The gorgeous ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl, and so is the rusty bell that I have added so that the card actually rings to tie in with the telephone theme.  I've used the Lovely Fence #DH12 die too.
I hope you like my card and I've inspired you to join us this month at Crafting Life's Pieces.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning cards.  Thanks for looking! x
