I was itching to use one of the new stamps from my Winter Stamp Club when I sat down to make this card. I figured that Tilda playing with this huge balloon fits the summer theme as we tend to visit lots of country house open days and air shows and the children invariably bring home a balloon each! I've coloured Tilda with Large Balloon with copics and then covered the balloon with glossy accents. I've created a summer sky behind Tilda using the cloud doohickey as a template and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
The pink and white flowers are from The Ribbon Girl and the blue flowers are from my stash. I have used the Rose Leaf Doohickey for the leaves and the Doiley Flowers Doohickey for the pearl centred flower. The bottom of the card has been trimmed with the Tilda's Lace Doohickey.
I received the stunning Butterfly Doohickey for Christmas which I was so excited about as I've coveted it for so long! I had to use it twice here :).
Another shot of Tilda's balloon so that you can see the glossy accents.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Magnolia Down Under Challenges. Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's stunning summer creations! Thanks for looking! x
