Stempelglede DT Post - Treasure

Good morning!  I'm so thrilled that I found time to make a layout, it has been too long since the last one!  I have used very little to make this one even though it is still very busy because I used several amazing background stamps from Stempelglede's Backgrounds and Borders collection.
I began by stamping the harlequin design in two different Distress Ink colours: Spiced Marmalade and Faded Jeans.  I've then blended the two colours together where they meet and also spritzed some Gold Glimmer Mist over the design.  The gorgeous swirl is one that I cut into two pieces so that I could use it top and bottom of the photo.  A few flowers and the photo framing is complete!
Next I've used the striped border with Black Soot Distress Ink followed by the splatter background with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.  I know I'm going to be using this splatter stamp a lot - my real paint splatters never end up how or where I want them so this is perfect for me!
I finished the stamping with the harlequin stamp again, this time dipped in Gesso (warning: if you do this yourself ensure you wash off the Gesso immediately because it is extremely difficult to remove otherwise!).
The edges of the white cardstock have been puckered and rolled to create an aged look and I then mounted it onto a piece of Webster's Pages paper.
I added a small piece of corrugated card underneath the photo and some ribbon tails.
A Webster's Pages journal tag is the perfect finishing touch!
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

This is a fabulous Jane. I love the layout and the Stempleglede stamps are gorgeous especially love the harlequine stamp. Do you know if their products are available from stores in this country? Would love one of their sentiment sheets.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs Sharon. x
