Magnolia-licious DT Autumn Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Magnolia-licious Autumn Blog Hop!  If you've arrived here from the amazing Barbara's blog then you're on the right track.  If not, then you might want to pop to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to start the hop from the beginning as there are prizes along the way!
OK, let me tell you about what I have made for the hop.  A wonderful friend of mine gave me the link to this wonderful pumpkin made from a book.  Thanks again sweetie!  The original idea was that Tilda would sit on the pumpkin or something but I didn't anticipate the pumpkin would be so large!  I have, therefore, also decorated a bag of bonfire toffee to go with my autumn decoration.  I'm going to make a couple of smaller pumpkins to go with this one though as everyone thinks it is amazing and I really am a groups of three kind of person lol.  I didn't quite stick to the tutorial for my pumpkin as I have inked the edges of my pumpkin with 'Spiced Marmalade' Distress Ink before I shaped it into the pumpkin.
You've probably noticed if you're a regular visitor that I have started painting with Distress Inks again rather than colouring with copics, mainly because most of my copics have run out!  I have to say that this is my favourite piece of Distress Ink painting so far, I am rather pleased with the shadow behind Tilda.
I've used gold Stickles for the sparklers that Tilda is holding.  They really do look very sparkly in real life!  I wrapped a piece of brown hessian ribbon around the bag before adding the Tilda tag for a rustic autumnal look.
I punched holes in the top of the bag and tied it with some checked ribbon and lots of jute string from my stash, finished off with a sparkling chocolate coloured rose.
Almost forgot the pumpkin's flowers!  I made these using Magnolia Doohickey Peony dies and natural coffee papers.  The fabric leaves are from Prima.
I hope you've enjoyed looking at my autumn creations.  I don't know about you but they make me want to huddle in front of an open fire with a cup of soup lol.  Now it's time to hop to my talented friend Barb's blog to see what she has created.  Good luck and thanks for looking! x

Jane this is really gorgeous. I have to say it made me say WOW big Your coloring made me want to grab my distress inks and start giving my images shadows...lol. It is so effective. I just asked Roy where the little Reader's Digest magazines were so I could try a pumpkin and he stopped his subscription, yikes now what am I going to use. My Vogue magazine has over 850 pages maybe that would work. What did you use?
Stunning work!
