Minecraft Birthday Card

 Good morning!  I have another of my son's birthday cards to share today.  This is the card I made for my daughter to give him.  They love playing Minecraft together and when I asked her what she would like on her card for him she requested a Minecraft pig!  I have to say that this had me pretty stumped at first so I did some searching and came across this incredible card which was my inspiration for mine.  The background is lots of squares from different colours of wood effect paper.  Although it's a simple idea it certainly takes a long time to cut the squares and then stick them down!  My squares are 1cm square so it was quite fiddly.

 The pig was created in the same way .  The nose is raised on 3D foam pads and then the pig is mounted onto the card with a spring so that it wobbles about.  My children absolutely loved this feature!

 The 'Happy birthday' text is a Magnolia stamp and I wrote 'Brother' myself in the same style.  The square brads are from my stash.
