Door Hanger

Here is the door hanger I made for my little boy. The paper is from Dovecraft and was perfect for this as I needed a dragon and sadly couldn't afford to get the dragon stamp from WOJ so I decided to make the dragon wing stick out from the hanger so that it stood out as a dragon as it is quite swirly and arty and difficult to discern as a dragon otherwise. I loved colouring Charlie, he's so cute. Yet again I've used some wash tablet net bag and coloured it grey so it looks a bit like chain mail...well that was the idea anyway. The capital C I drew myself and cut out and mounted onto a circle of BoBunny paper and then heat embossed my gorgeous Stempleglede grunge circle round it so that it looks like a medieval decorated letter.

I added some black glitter to the swirls on the dragon to make him stand out more.

A close up of Charlie. The "chain mail" behind him is the wash tablet bag coloured grey.

A close up of the Medieval style decorated letter.

My little boy loves it, thank goodness! He has a huge castle and lots of soldiers and a knight dress up kit so this was so perfect for his room! I left it on his door last night while he was asleep so he saw it when he got up....his first reaction was Wow Mummy when did you put this there?....LOL I'm so glad he liked it!

Embossed circle: Stempleglede grunge collection circle stamp

Papers: Dovecraft fantasy collection and BoBunny celtic text
