Just Magnolia challenge - Mina's sketch

Oh dear I just seem to be rushing everything this week! Another rush job, I think this must be the quickest card I've ever made. I really wanted to join in with the Just Magnolia challenge this week as I just loved Mina's sketch when I saw it. Connor's teacher is actually leaving his school for a new job tomorrow when term ends and so I decided to make a good luck card.

I bought this gorgeous paper from the Hobby House ages ago, I didn't have a clue what I was going to do with it I just knew I loved it and needed it LOL! Then today I sat down to make this card and was looking at the gorgeous bouquet my husband sent me on Tuesday which has a huge sunflower in it and I remembered this paper!

I've coloured Tilda with copics and cut her out so that she could sit on the ribbon as I don't have any accessory stamps for her to sit on! The edge of the oval has been stamped with the gorgeous New Year swirl stamp from Magnolia and distressed with antique linen and brushed cordoruy inks.

Now for my favourite bit of this card...these amazing daisies! Aren't they gorgeous? I just had to get them when I saw them and they go perfectly with all the daisies on the paper. The sentiment is from a Forever Friends sentiment set and I've distressed the edges.

Connor's teacher is just being so spoilt LOL I only got a pack of 5 and I've used them all on this one card!

The spotty green paper is the reverse of the daisy paper but I thought it looked too plain so I have stamped it with the Magnolia New Year swirl stamp also. I haven't decorated the inside yet....argh! so much to do and so little time LOL!
