Whiff of Joy birthday card

This is the card I made for my son to take to one of his friends' birthday party. My little boy "commissioned" me to make a card with this cheeky little monkey on and he wanted leaves on it like the one I did for the Whiff of Joy blog hop! Such a choosey customer LOL! The gorgeous sketch I followed is a little just for fun challenge from my local craft shop, Running With Scissors!

I have of course coloured him with copics and the edges have been distressed with faded jeans distress ink.

The sentiment was supopsed to be a rectangle, according to the sketch, but the diecut sentiment I wanted to use was too long so I ripped it in half and distressed the edges.

The leaves have been punched with a woodware punch and arranged to look like part of the tree that ....is swinging from!

Thanks for looking! x
