Colour Create Challenge

The challenge at Colour Create Challenge this week is red, yellow, black and white with the option of including checks and flowers. I have to admit I struggled with this one and I don't think I like my card really! The colour combo is lovely but the only red paper I could find in my stash without using Christmas papers was this spotty K & Co one. Then the only checked papers I had were in either pink, blue or pale green....so I opted for the pale green!

I used this lovely stamp from Sugar Nellie as I thought she would look great in these colours.

All the flowers have been spritzed with glimmer mist.

The paper punched with the doiley lace punch is the pale green check....very pale green check LOL doesn't look checked at all in this pic but I can assure you it is!

Thanks for looking and have a great day! I am staying in for the second day this week waiting for my washing machine to be repaired. They came on Monday and repaired the horrendous noise it was making.....great!!!!......only they obviously didn't put it back together correctly because as soon as I went to use it water flooded out from the bottom of it.....not great!!!!...and to top it off they've made me wait two days for them to come out and repair their error, don't you just love it!!! x

I love your cards, Jane! In case you might not know me, I was invited by you via Running With Scissors. I'm not a big card maker, although I do want to learn and I think your blog is perfect for newbie card makers like myself!
