Mo's challenge blog

This is my entry for the new Mo's challenge blog, and also my first ever digi-image card! I've seen lots of people using Mo's incredible images but haven't been brave enough to use them myself LOL! The very first challenge is to use purple. I absolutely love this image, isn't it great for a male birthday card!? As soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to do with it. The idea is it looks like a detective's desk with bits and pieces of evidence strewn about it!

I have of course coloured this cute detective with my copics and given him a purple hat to fit the challenge.

The scraps from the dictionary give the meanings of "clue" and "search", I copied them from the dictionary onto my wordprocessing program and printed out. For the tea cup stain I inked the edge of one of my Son's paint pots with Tea Dye distress ink.
The finger print is mine LOL, goodness knows how long it is going to take me to get the adirondack ink off my finger, I've scrubbed it three times with soap already and it is still there black as black LOL! One must sacrifice for ones art!

The inside has been decorated with offcuts from the front and I have created some more tea cup stains and punched holes in the paper so that it looks like a piece of the detectives notebook has been torn out. This card is for a male friend of the family who will appreciate the cheeky sentiment LOL! (I hope)

Thanks for looking! x

This is fantastic Jane, such clever idea's you have used.
I used my finger print's on my card today, how ironic...
I love Mo's images but I am not so good with the pc, I think I need a decent programme like photoshop but they cost load's, I will have to find the time to try the trial period, there are not enough hour's in the day lately though.
