Just Magnolia - It takes two!

Yippee!! It's Friday and that means it is time for another challenge at Just Magnolia! It is time for one of our special monthly challenges too so there is an extra big prize. This week our challenge is "it takes two" - ie: use at least two Magnolia images on your card (text stamps don't count!!). I have used the gorgeous sketch at Truly Scrumptious challenge which also had the option of having a pull out tag. I so wished I had a background stamp while I was making this card, it would have been so much easier LOL. I decided this gorgeous Tilda looks like she is fascinated by something and so I have created a little scene where she has discovered a fairy in the garden. The papers are from Kaisercraft and I have distressed them with victorian velvet distress ink.
I have coloured the images with distress inks and added stickles to the little fairy Tilda - isn't she just the cutest!? - sooooo tiny!

I have added some scrolls cut with Tim Holtz flourish die, covered with stickles, along with some hydrangeas punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The spacers and brads are from my stash. The leaves are from a Woodware punch and the butterflies are also a Martha Stewart punch.

I used Martha Stewart punches on the bottom panel - a flower border along the bottom and a butterfly border along the top. The pearls and ribbon are from my stash. I have created the "grass" by punching some fern leaves with a McGill punch and cutting them in half vertically.

The pull out tag has been stamped with a sentiment from the 1001 nights Whiff of Joy kit which says "Believe in the magic". The butterflies are from Magnolia. The tag is a spellbinder die.

Hope you like it and you can join us this week. My teamies have made the most amazing cards for your inspiration too - pop over and have a look! x

Hi Jane
another lovely card, it reminds me of my granddaughter Elodie. At the bottom of my garden I have some little fairy's, and Elodie loves to lay on her tummy on the lawn, (weather permitting of course) and talk to nanny's fairy's lol.
Hugs
