Tickled Pink Stamps GDT card

I was so thrilled when Kellie asked me to Guest Design for her new Tickled Pink store - what an honour!! Kellie has challenged the DT this week to use the colours black or brown with pink and white or cream. I have to admit I struggled a bit here as I've only ever made two pink and brown cards before and although everyone else I see making them makes the most scrummy looking cards I never like mine in these colours! There I was struggling away trying to find the right pink with the right brown when I remembered my Basic Grey Indian Summer pad - perfect!! For my card I have used an image from Tickled Pink's very own stamp range, Lil Lolitas. This one is Lylah just love her eyes and her fab hair!!! I decided to join in the Create 4 Fun challenge who have this gorgeous sketch to use this week.

I've coloured Lylah with copics and added some stickles to her pressie and the frills on her socks and dress. I inked the edge of the image mat with antique linen distress ink.

The large flower is a mixture of retro punched flowers from an old book and white Prima E Line flowers, all sprayed with glimmer mist. The gorgeous brad in the centre is from the Hobby House and the blossom is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I added some swirls punched with an EK success flourish punch and added gems by Kaisercraft to the ends of each swirl.

The sentiment is from one of my recent hAnglar kits I managed to buy from ebay. I added some pink ribbon to match the pressie from my stash and curled it around the image.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Kellie is now selling just stamps internationally again so if you would like to get your hands on some of the Lil Lolitas click here! x
