Woohoo!! It is the first Friday of the month which means it is time for one of our special monthly challenges at Just Magnolia! This month Mindy Baxter has done a brilliant tutorial showing how to add gathered lace or ribbon to your cards and that therefore is our challenge for this week! I have used Chelsea's stunning sketch over at the Crafting Life's Pieces challenge, thanks hun, I love your sketches!! My papers are from the Basic Grey Cappella pad. I have used the Bridesmaid Tilda for my image. Is it just me or is she oversized??? She's huge in comparison to all my other Tildas!! This is my third attempt colouring her as for some reason I just found her size difficult to work with! Anyway, she is coloured with distress inks and I have added some Rock Candy stickles to her wings and shoes. I have gathered lace around the edge of my oval mat and also along the top edge of the card where I also added some black gems from my stash.
I have used MS flower edge punch and butterfly edge punch across the centre strip and added some ribbon and a bow from my stash. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, all sprayed with glimmer mist.
Hope you like it and can join us this week! Pop and have a look at the rest of the teams stunning creations for some more inspiration! Thanks for looking! x
