Whiff of Joy DT - Lazy Summer Days

Here's the second card I have made with the fabulous Fun in the Sun June Stamp kit from Whiff of Joy!! I have created a relaxing summer scene using the stamps from the kit and part of another Whiff of Joy stamp! Again I've used my children's sandpit for my photo shoot!

I masked the fence stamp from Whiff of Joy so that only one of the posts was stamped to create a breaker for the seagull to sit on!! The sandcastle is, of course, from the Fun in the Sun kit.
I made some tiny shells by stamping the large Hero Arts shell you see in the right hand corner onto shrink plastic and dotted them around the sandcastle.
All the images are coloured with copics. Here's Willow reading a book on the beach! Sorry, there is that arc of light again - the price you pay for taking pictures in the sandpit in glorious sunshine LOL!!

I wanted to create the feel of a shell charm bracelet across the card so made some more shrink plastic shells using the Hero Arts stamps. The starfish charm is a blue plastic one I've had in my stash for ages - knew it would come in handy - only as I've never seen a blue starfish I painted it with crackle paint and sponged it with spiced marmalade distress ink! To finish I stamped one of the sentiments from the kit with spiced marmalade distress ink and stamped a grunge circle stamp around it with a Stempelglede stamp to create the sentiment circle!

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! To grab your Fun in the Sun stamp kit click here! x
PS. you might want to check back tomorrow......I have a new release to show you from Whiff of Joy and I promise you you are going to LOVE these!!! x
