Tickled Pink Stamps - Fashionette Lil Lolita previews - day 5!

Welcome to day 5 of the Tickled Pink Stamps Fashionette Lil Lolita previews! Today we're going back in time again to the rock and roll years with 50's Lilith! Isn't she amazing in her Rockabilly outfit!? I had sooo many ideas for Lilith but the amazing pink ladies had already beaten me to them all!! So I googled 1950's and was reminded that drive in movies were all the rage back then, which inspired me to make this "going to the drive in" card!

Hopefully, you can see the drive in movie references here. Alongside the gorgeous 50's Willow is the "now showing" board - wonder which one she's going to see LOL? The odd shaped panel behind is a board outlined with "lights" which I copied from a photo. The paper is from MME Bella Bella paper pad and I've glittered all the polka dots with stickles.

I've coloured 50's Willow with copics and added some stickles around her feet.

The arrow is from Tim Holtz grungeboard elements set, coloured with a copic marker and covered in gems. The flowers are by Prima.

I printed my movie board on the computer and added the lines with a fine tip marker.

I added a loop of Tim Holtz film reel ribbon with an eyelet from my stash - had to get the film reel in somewhere and it was the only place it would fit LOL!

Hope you like it and thanks for looking! Tomorrow is the final preview day - ahhh - BUT, that means you can then order them for yourself!!! Hooray!!! Check out the rest of the teams stunning creations here! x

Hi Jane. OMWord...I am glad that the other Pink Ladies took your other ideas because this card is a show stopper...Pun intended...WOW...I just can't stop saying it. Everything on your card is perfection! I love how you colored Lilith. I love the arrow to the billboard. You can just feel the warmth of the lights that are highlighting your billboard. I love your film strip. I have not seen that before, but I don't think it could have come out better if you had wanted it to. GREAT, GREAT card. I really love it. Hugs, Lisa G

Thank you Jane, so many negative comments are made to the blondes in the world, but really, this movie title says it all, lol!! You know, you have done such clever things with these images, I love the soft pinks and reds, truly remniscent of those times, and of course, your colouring is amazing!!
