Just Magnolia DT - Think Pink!

This week at Just Magnolia our challenge is Think Pink to raise awareness of pink week for breast cancer awareness. I just couldn't wait to ink up some more cuties from the autumn kit. I've used Magnolia paper and distressed the edges with tearing and stickles.

As soon as I saw the kit I knew instantly that I wanted to combine these two images. I was thinking she looked like she could hold the huge candy cane but her arms weren't far enough appart for it to look right so I decided to have her propping it up with one hand. Wouldn't every little girl love to receive this at Christmas LOL?? I have coloured the images with copics on Neenah Solar White cardstock from The Hobby House. I added some gorgeous deep lace from my stash and some red gems in between each scallop from the Hobby House.

I used a sentiment from Magnolia, stamped with victorian velvet distress ink and I've teamed it with snowflakes and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, who are sponsoring us this week.
I added some glitter to the flowers for a frosty Christmas look.
Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Just Magnolia. Pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the team's pink creations - you won't be disappointed! Thanks for looking! x
