I have used Create4fun's sketch for my card which was a fabulous circular sketch so I decided I just had to make a circular easel card - been a while since I've made on of those! The papers are a mixture of Magnolia and Kaisercraft and a scrap of glittered vellum from my stash. Sorry about the dodgy photos in this post - that's October light for you!! This was taken at midday - yikes! - think I need to search around the house for a brighter spot now that it is coming up to winter.
I have coloured Cherrie with copics. At last I have the correct pens to create lovely soft pinks with my copics - yay!!! Notice the sitching??? At last I have got a sewing machine that I can lift about myself and is small enough to put in a cupboard out of sight!!
The only trouble I find with circular easel cards is there isn't much room for embellishments, so I have kept mine simple with a blossom and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts together with a couple of leaves cut with a Doo Hickey die. The butterflies are punched with MS butterfly punch and the top of the paper behind the image was punched with MS doiley lace punch.
On the base of the card I have added a gorgeous chiffon spotty bow using ribbon which was a gift from Katharina :), thank you so much x. The sweet wishes is from Whiff of Joy and I've stamped it onto a tag cut with a spellbinders die.
