Whiff of Joy challenge DT - distressing

This fortnight at Whiff of Joy challenge we have a theme that is so close to my heart - distressing!! Easy peasy for me as I distress just about everything I make LOL. I have used some gorgeous papers from MME Christmas Glitter stack and distressed them with walnut stain distress ink and stickles.

I masked together two gorgeous images from Whiff of Joy. Mary from the Christmas Blessings kit and Joseph with baby Jesus from the Let Us Adore Him kit. I have coloured them with copics and stamped a Whiff of Joy Christmas swirl stamp around the edges with frayed burlap distress ink.

I added a huge bow of gorgeous gold organza ribbon together with some roses.

The gold holly leaves are by Prima and I added a touch of pickett fence crackle paint to them as I felt they were too shiney. I have also added some gorgeous snowflakes from the Hobby House which were also gold and have been given the crackle paint treatment.

Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Whiff of Joy challenge. Please pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the teams stunning creations! Thanks for looking! x
