Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar DT - Anything Goes and Buttons

OMG did you order the Winter Kit from Magnolia??? This has to be my absolute favourite kit so far!! I absolutely love every single stamp in it - can't wait to see the extras they release! I had to wait until Christmas day for mine as hubby bought them as a present (with lots of advice and prompting obviously LOL) so have only just managed to play with them.

Our challenge this week at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar is "anything goes" with the added option of using buttons. I needed to make a card for my Father in Law from the children. I always like to represent them both on cards with an image each so that meant I got to use two stamps on one card - yay!!! As you can see I made a tri fold card. I'm not too sure on the colours to be honest but never mind - hate men's cards I always struggle with the dull papers! I tried to brighten things up with splashes of red.

Edwin is coloured with copics and I used gold liquid pearls on his buttons. See the ribbon he's holding?

He passes it all the way along to Tilda who's holding it too!!! I added some pennant flags using the reverse of the paper. They've been given a coat of stickles too. The "Happy Birthday Grandad" has been cut with Tim Holtz Market street die and then stickled.

Here's a close up of Tilda, isn't she great!? Love this image!! Again she's coloured with copics. All the buttons are from The Hobby House.

The card still folds flat to fit in the envelope! I do love this fold, shall have to use it more! Hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar! Pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations! Thanks for looking! x
