I have such a cute image to show you today from Whiff of Joy's new Valentine collection. Isn't this dragon adorable!?!?! I thought he'd look great on a long thin card trotting along. The paper is from Panduro's Tilda Wintergarden paper pad and I've sewn and distressed the edges.
I coloured the Puff Heart Dragon with copics and added stickles to the heart puffs.
The gorgeous die cut edge was cut with Whiff of Joy's new Lovely Hearts die and then added some gems from The Hobby House to each heart.
I have started to decorate the insides of my cards again which I haven't done for a long time unless it was a special card and must say I'm really enjoying doing so! As you can see along the bottom I have a kind of die cut effect - this is because I folded the cardstock before running through my big shot to cut the front edge and as the card was so thick it didn't cut through to the back piece but I liked the embossed effect it gave on the inside! The white panel was cut with Whiff of Joy's curly hearts die which I've used top and bottom to show the two different effects you can achieve with the same die! The Be Mine sentiment heart was a freebie from a Kaisercraft magazine.
