Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge DT - My sketch!

At last it is Friday and time for another Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge. This is the other card I made myself create - not sure I'm entirely happy with how it turned out but never mind. The papers were some scraps from my stash so I'm afraid I don't know who makes them but I know they are from The Hobby House. I am also entering my card into the TOMIC challenge as they would like to see easel cards this week. Our challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar is a sketch by me - hope you enjoy using it!

I decided to get creative with the sketch and used the moon stamp as the circle element and the rocket as the tilted rectangle element - not sure it was a good idea though as Tilda kind of looks like the rocket is crashing into her LOL but the rocket is supposed to be orbiting the moon and Tilda is in front!! I've coloured all the images with copics. The double bow is with ribbon from my stash and the gem spacer is from The Hobby House. I have used Martha Stewart star border punch on the horizontal strip and added some lace too. The stars are also from the Magnolia summer kit, stamped onto white cardstock, edges inked with Victorian Velvet distress ink and then covered in stickles. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have covered Tilda's helmet with glossy accents - looks fabulous in real life!! - you can see it a little better in this picture.

On the base of the easel card I have added the Fly me to the moon sentiment from the summer kit and used the new tag doohickey. I added another star with a ribbon tail for a shooting star and some more roses. The swirls were punched with an EK success punch.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this week at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar. Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations! Thanks for looking! x
