At last a card for fun! - TOMIC

Phew!! After a very hectic few weeks I finally found time to make a card just for the fun of it! (well actually I made the time to try to unwind!). I just couldn't resist this week's TOMIC challenge when I saw their gorgeous inspiration photo and sketch!! I would just love a room like that in the inspiration picture and knew instantly I wanted to use the gorgeous vintage couch by Magnolia! The papers are a mixture from my stash - anything that was off white basically LOL! I've inked all the edges with the lush new Bundled Twigs distress ink that comes in the limited edition set - I really love it as it is not quite as dark as Walnut stain!

I embossed the sofa in gold and inked the gorgeous elegant Tilda separately and cut her out to sit on the couch! She is coloured with copics and I've added liquid pearls to her hair and stickles to her dress. I have stamped around the image with antique linen distress ink using a Stempelglede grunge stamp.

The lush ribbon is from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and I added some pins from The Hobby House and a rose created with a sizzix die.

The gorgeous large blossom is by Prima and I added some paper flowers from my stash and another rose created with the sizzix die. The leaves are a doohickey die and the gorgeous gold beaded stems were a gift from a friend.

The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy, stamped with antique linen distress ink. The fancy panel underneath Tilda was cut with a spellbinder die - I thought it was perfect for this oppulent Gustavian style!

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
