Woohoo!! It is time for another challenge at the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and this month it is my turn to choose the theme! I have chosen "buttons and bows" as the challenge - a gorgeous combination for any kind of project! I wanted to make something a little different as I've made a lot of Christmas cards just lately and remembered something I've wanted to try for a long time now - an elegant shoe using Terri Heinz' template and tutorial.
I have used gorgeous K&Co Madeliene paper for my shoe. I had actually intended to make a little tag album to slip inside the shoe but I haven't been well this week and have been going to bed early, so ended up having very little time to make my project. Hopefully I'll find time later to create what I have in mind.
I have decorated the toe of the shoe with a scrap of lace gathered into a fan shape (I was going for a Georgian look here :)) and the most gorgeous organza ribbon from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop topped with a button and twine also from the shop - isn't that ribbon gorgeous!?
I added a ruffle edge to the back of the shoe using some more of the ribbon.
Here's a side view showing the ruffle edging and the heel.
I created the heel with a tightly rolled strip of cardstock wrapped with paper and topped with a button for a nice clicky heel.
This was so much fun to make I'm definitely going to make some more for little gifts - although I think I'll keep this one for myself :).
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this month at Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations! Thanks for looking! x

Hi hunni!
I can see why you wanna keep this one yourself - it´s so delish! Very pretty and very girly and also romantic :) How clever to make the heel the way you did!
Stunning!

Super gorgeous creation! Love the "upper" love the heel! I can't get your link to the tutorial and template to take me there though. Hugs, Lesley
