Here I am, back again as promised with tag number 2 from
Tim's 12 tags of Christmas! I had to do quite a bit of improvisation on this one as the only things I had that Tim used are the reindeer die and sticky back canvas. Luckilly, I learned the piano when I was younger so I can write music which came in handy for the background. I think I wiped too much paint off the tag though as it doesn't look white enough to me and my red and green inking just went completely wrong - never mind - you live and learn don't you!
Boy did I struggle with trying to splatter the perfect pearls mist LOL - will have to try that again on another project - I got a fine spray and only one splatter which you can see above the reindeer's back LOL!
I created my own kraft resist by clear embossing a Stempelglede sentiment along the edge.
Oooh I just spotted another splatter in this shot to the left of the reindeer's legs - yay!! I didn't have the die Tim used so used the plaque and postage die instead. I used gold and bronze lustre rub on the grungeboard and unfortunately didn't have anything I could smash the brads up with so they had to stay smooth.
I used my last bit of burlap cloth a while back and have been unable to find any more so had to use a bit of string instead along with a wreath charm and some gold ribbon.
Hope you like it! If you'd like a look at my first tag please scroll down to the next post. Thanks for looking! x

Wow, lovely tag! love the charm and embossing. Hugs, Hanneke
Fantastic Jane and it's amazing that you wrote all that music, it looks fantastic. I love the delicacy of your style, very beautiful and I love how you improvised too. I was the same and rubbed off too much of the white but I love how yours looks and I think the white deer show up better with a bit of contrast in the background. Hugs, Chris xxx
